Leopold J. (Paul) Manandise,69,of 612 Maple Ave.,Charleroi,died in the Ankdrom Convalesent Home, Washington,Pa.,Tuesday,March 20,1962 at 10:25 a.m. He was born in Charleroi, Belgium,May 20,1892. He was a retired glass worker. He was a veteran of World War I,and served in France with Co.E.,131st Infantry,33rd Division. H was a member of the Charleroi American Legion Post 22. He was also a member of the First Christian Church of Charleroi. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Pauline) Luke of Bradford, Pa.and Mrs. Herman ( Helen) Raicos of Charleroi,R.D.; three sisters, Mrs. Sherry Traistor of Tampa, Fla.,Mrs. George Plasman and Mrs. Charles Weaver of North Charleroi; one step-son, Edward Billion of Charleroi and nine grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Harold L. Schrock Funeral Home,Charleroi,during hours of 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Friday, March 23,at 11 a.m.,in charge of the Rev. W.S. Van Arsdale. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold L.Schrock of Charleroi is the funeral director.
