Obituary

Leonard L. Pallo, 70, of Naomi, Fayette City, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 22, 2015, in Country Care Manor, Fayette City, with his wife at his side. He was born Dec. 10, 1944, in Fayette City, son of the late Andrew G. Pallo and the late Anna Duda Pallo.He was a member of the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club and the Naomi Athletic Club. Leonard was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport Plant. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Mendicino Pallo; son, USMC Gunnery Sgt. Michael Pallo and wife, Stacy, of Okinawa, Japan: daughter, Monica Fike and husband, Brian, of North Carolina; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Richard J. Pallo and Andrew Pallo. Family and friends will be received Thursday, April 23, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME, 334 Main St., Fayette City, 724-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 24, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon
