Leonard A. Seemuth; 64; of Charleroi; died Friday; Jan. 11; 2002 in the emergency room at Mon Valley Hospital. He was born July 8; 1937 in Punxsutawney; a son of the late Philip and Grace Machen Seemuth. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Charlcroi; Charleroi Elks Lodge 494; and was a retired fireman with the Charleroi Volunteer Fire Department. He was a retired journeyman machinist at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. Surviving are his wife; Kay Yakich Seemuth; two daughters and sons-in-taw; Arlene and David Wingerter of Canton; Ohio; and Christy and John Douro of Ortonville; Mich.; one brother and sister-in-law; Frederick and Elinor Kay Seemuth of Dunlevy; four grandchildren; Devin and Corey Wingerter and Rheanna and Rachelle Douro. Friends will be received in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME; 819 Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi; on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Monday at noon with Pastor Beverly J. Banyay officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
