Leonael (Lee) Griffith Sr., 85, of Vanderbilt,R.D.1, died Saturday, Oct. 29,1988, at 10:30 p.m. in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown. Mr. Griffith was born April 8,1903, in Belle Vernon, a son of the late Annanis and Sarah Cratty Griffith. He was a retired employee of the Charleroi plant of Corning Glass Works. Mr. Griffith was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ, Vanderbilt R.D.1. Surviving are his wife, Joan Moskal Griffith; one son, Leonael Griffith Jr. of Monongahela; three daughters, Mrs. James (Margaret) Dragrone and Mrs. Norman (Alma Mae) Monack, both of Charleroi R.D.1, and Mrs. Clare (Marion) Ingram of New Eagle; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charles Griffith of Monongahela. Friends will be received in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, Inc., Perryopolis, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until 2 p.m., the hour of services in the funeral,with Brother James L. King officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Blair-Lowther Funeral Home,Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
