Leona Essey,17,and Georgene,15,daughters of Mr.and Mrs. George Essey of Washington,died Friday,June 13,1969,at 7:30 p.m.from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Interstate 70 in Rostraver Township. Besides their parents they are survived by a sister,Michelle,at home. Leona Essey was born in North Charleroi. Leona Essey was born in North Charleroi. She was graduated a week ago from Trinity High School in Washington where she had been treasurer of the senior class and a member of the "Go to College" club. She was to enter California State College this fall. She was also a member of St. Ellien Syrian Orthodox Church of Brownsville,where she participated in the choir and Sunday School. She also held various offices in the Y.M.C.A. Friends will be received at the H. Denver Rhome Funeral Home,Monessen. Prayer services there at 10 a.m.Tuesday,June 17,followed by service at St. Ellien Syrian Orthodox. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. H. Denver Rhome is funeral director.
