Mrs.Leona Bissiere;80;of 1203 Prospect Ave.;Charleroi;died Friday;Dec.22;1967;at 9:30 p.m.in Blairsville State Hospital. Born in France Nov;25;1887;she was a resident of the Mon Valley for 75 years. Her husband;Alfred Bissiere;died in 1944. Surviving are three daughters;Mrs.Benjamin (Mercedes) Burnett of Charleroi;Mrs.Victor (Lenona) Merlo of Charleroi and Mrs.Thomas (Audrey) Haywood of Dunlevy;four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Michael A.Melinchak Funeral Home;Charleroi;from 12 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.thereafter. Services will be held Tuesday;Dec.26;at 1 p.m.at the funeral home with the Rev.Martin Longenecker of the First Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
