Leon Van Acker,aged 58 years,died Monday morning,April 29,1929,at 4 o'clock in his home,811 Sixth street,following an illness of three years duration. Mr. Van Acker had been a resident of Charleroi for the past eighteen years and for six years was employed at the MacBeth Evans Glass company. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose,the Cooperative French Club and the Mutual French club,all of Charleroi. There survive his wife,Mrs. Adaline Van Acker,three brothers and one sister,of Belgium. Funeral services will be held at St. Jerome's Church Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock with interment following in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
