Leon Delbarre;63;of 1068 Graham avenue;Monessen;died Wednesday;May 6;1959;at 10:45 p.m.;after a lingering illness. He was born in California;Pa.;and had been a resident of Monessen since 1910. He was employed at the Monessen plant of the Pittsburgh Steel company;and his last job there was in the capacity of watchman. He is survived by his wife;Evelyn Stevenson Delbarre;one daughter;Mrs.Francis (Clemmie) Campbell;Mt.Lebanon;two brothers;Alfred of Charleroi and John of Webster;five sisters;Mrs.Rose Balkus;Mrs.Catherine Remy of California;Pa.;Mrs.Sophie Kissler of Monessen;Mrs.Mary Lami and Mrs.Louise Celaschi of Charleroi;and three grandsons. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Monessen;during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Saturday;May 9;at 1:30 p.m.;in charge of Rev.T.Duane Stewart of the Monessen Methodist Church;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
