Mrs. Leola Mitchell,63,of 1170 Schoonmaker Ave.,Monessen died Tuesday,Jan. 7,1958,in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Mitchell had lived in Monessen for nine years and was a member of the Union Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters,Mrs. Herman (Ernestine) Jackson,with whom Mrs. Mitchell made her home and Mrs. Rosa Wingfield,of Milledgeville,Ga.;a brother, Reese Lewis,of Cincinnati,Ohio and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Draper Funeral Home after 7 p.m.on Jan. 9. Funeral home visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held Saturday,Jan.11,at 2 p.m. from the Union Baptist Church,with the Rev. E.W. Jarrett officiating.
