in the Mon Valley Hospital.
She was 77.
Born Jan. 7; 1903 in
Charleroi; she was the
daughter of the late Gaetano
and Teresa Bartolozzi Pieri.
She had been a resident of
Belle Vernon for over 50
years.
Mrs. Valdiserri was a
member of St. Sebastian’s
Church; Belle Vernon; Anita
Garibaldi Belle Vernon
Lodge; Catholic Daughters of
America; and the Belle Vernon
Golden Agers.
She was preceeded in death by her husband;Silla;on Feb.26;1980. Survivors include two sons;Ernest I.Valdiserri of Belle Vernon and Roger O.Valdiserri of South Bend;Ind.;four sisters;Mrs.William (Emma) Franchini;Mrs.Aldo (Ida) Picchiarini;Mrs.Cleo (Lillian) Valdiserri and Mrs.Chester (Dolly) Biagini;all of Belle Vernon;nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shleby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Blessing service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
