Mrs. Lena Kirschner of 1010 Brown street, Belle Vernon,died Saturday, January 9,1954,at 1 p.m. Mrs.Kirschner was born in Scottdale, February 18,1900,the daughter of John and Minny Klink Anderson. She had been a resident of Belle Vernon for eight months,moving there from Charleroi. She was a member of St. Jerome's Church. She is survived by her husband, Alfred Kirschner,her mother,Mrs. Minny Anderson, four brothers, John Anderson of Connellsville,Ray Anderson of Florida,George Anderson of Pitsburgh and Julius Anderson of Warren, Ohio and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Cerminara of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Josephine Taube of New Jersey. Friends will be received at the Francis C. Slezak Funeral Home. Requiem High Mass will be sung in St. Jerome's Church, Tuesday, January 12,1954.by Rev. James Mckeever,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C. Slezak is the funeral director.
