Lena H. Sivie,88, of Monessen,died Sunday,July14,1996,in Haven Crest Nursing Center, Carroll Township. She was born in Monessen,April 23,1908,a daughter of the late Carmen and Vincenza Naccarato Cecelia. Mrs. Sivie had been a resident of Monessen all of her life. She and her late husband,John Sivie Sr.,owned and operated the Sivie Plumbing and Hardware Store on Schoonmaker Avenue in Monessen for many years until their retirement. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. Surviving are a daughter,Joanne Pidich,at home; a son and daughter-in-law,John and Carol Sivie Jr.of Agura, Calif.and four grandchildren, Lauri and Kelly Pidich of Monessen and Jonas and Season Sivie of Agura, Calif. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Cecelia. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church,Monessen. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
