Lelah Lynch Hawker;98;Perryopolis R.D.1;died on Sunday;Nov.4;1990;at 9:50 p.m. in Uniontown Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Jefferson Township;Fayette County;on Nov.5;1891;a daughter of the late William J.Lynch and Ella Mae Kinnear Lynch. Mrs.Hawker was also a member of Little Redstone United Presbyterian Church of Fayette City R.D.1. She was preceded in death by her husband;Robert K.Hawker;in June 1977;and a son;James P.Hawker;in June 1981. Survivors include one son;William R.Hawker of Perryopolis R.D.1;one daughter;Mrs.Alex (Helen) Sethman of Carmichaels;seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren;and two sisters;Mrs.Hazel Cross of Bradenville;Pa.;and Mrs.Freda Murphy of Grindstone R.D.1. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until 1 p.m. at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where services will be held in the funeral home;with Pastor Robert Cromwell of Little Redstone United Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
