The Rev. Lee Nora Dupree,62,Arnold City,was fatally injured in a two-car accident on snow-covered Route 51 near Arrowhead Lake Friday night at 11:30. Mrs. Dupree, pastor of First Christian Church in Wickhaven,died at 1:15 a.m.Saturday morning,Dec. 20,1958 in McKeesport General Hospital from a crushed chest and fractured skull. Mrs. Dupree and her husband,Purvey Dupree were returning home from Church services at Bethlehem Temple, Pittsburgh,where the Rev. Mrs. Dupree was a guest speaker. She was a native of Georgia and became a minister 20 years ago. She had been minister at the Wickhaven Church the past 18 years. Besides her husband,Mrs. Dupree is survived by five sons, Milton of Cresson,LLoyd,U.S. Army and Sylvester,Harden and Robert of Arnold City and four daughters,Mary Louise of New York,and Mrs. Cora Thrasher,Mrs. Rosa McCarthy and Mrs. Geneva Turner,also of Arnold City. Friends are being received at the family home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the First Christian Church,Wickhaven,where she was pastor. Bishop Freeman M. Thomas of Pittsburgh will be the officiant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
