Obituary

Leda Tintori Arrigoni, 83, of North Belle Vernon, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at 2:15 p.m., at Center For Compassionate Care, Mt. Lebanon. Born Nov. 20, 1927, in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Emma Vignoli Tintori. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Mrs. Arrigoni was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, and was a retired secretary/librarian from St. Sebastian Parochial School in North Belle Vernon for 30 years, a job she loved dearly. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Tom Antal, of Belle Vernon, Susan Malys and Harry Prosba, of Library, and Laurie and James Christner, of North Belle Vernon, two grandchildren, Laurie and Michael Torruiso, of Perryopolis and Jeff Antal, of Belle Vernon, two great-grandchildren, Matthew Torruiso and Benjamin Torruiso, and two sisters, Lea Koos, of Carroll Township and Lola Martin, of Belle Vernon. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Arrigoni on Aug. 31, 2002, and brother, Louis Tintori. Visitation was held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, (724) 929-6183. Prayer Service and Funeral Mass was held Monday at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick, pastor, as celebrant. Entombment took place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Condolences accepted at the funeral home's website, www.parzynskifuneralhome.com.
