Obituary

Lebert Pierallini, 92, of North Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. A son of the late Eugene and Maria Dolfi Pierallini, he was born in Belle Vernon on Feb. 4, 1913. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, a life member of the Belle Vernon Musical Society and a member of Belle Vernon Moose Lodge 209. Mr. Pierallini was a former member of the Fayette City Golden Agers and MARS and has been retired for 30 years from the Cold Draw department at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., where he was known as Hazel . Survivors include his wife, Helen Ambrose Pierallini, with whom he would have celebrated 64 years of marriage on March 19, a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Richard Baran of Monessen, a son and daughter-in-law, David and Maryann Pierallini of Peters Township, two sisters, Mary Troiano of Charleroi and Olga Galiffa of Donora, two grandchildren, Robert Baran and wife Deborah of Peters Township and Susan Carroll and husband James of Ann Arbor, Mich., three great-grandsons, Brendan and Joshua Carroll and Elliot Baran, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Sabina Lebboroni, Nellie Pieri Dooley and Norma Polacek Karolewics, and three brothers, Frank, Fred and Eugene D. Pierallini. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, (724-929-5300), a Golden Rule Member Firm, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, where a blessing will be on Saturday, March 19, at 10 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Sebastian R.C. Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Friday at 3 p.m., led by members of St. Sebastian Parish.
