Obituary

Leah A. Ramsey, 72, of Perryopolis (Jefferson Township), entered into Eternal rest on Saturday, May 7, 2005 in Highland's Hospital with her loving family at her side. She was born Dec. 6, 1932 in Fayette City, a daughter of the late Alexander and Laura Hency Livingstone. She was a member of Braznell Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph A. Livingstone. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, John Ramsey, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Cindy and Kenneth Kostelac of Belle Vernon, Laurene and Bruce Ramsier of Perryopolis, and Luanne Ramsey, at home, a son and daughter-in-law, John A. and Donna Ramsey of Stevensville, Md., three brothers, Alex Livingstone of Connellsville, Keith Livingstone of Fayette City and Barry Livingstone of Deer Lake, nine grandchildren, Tracy Everett, Kelly Seaton, Chad Everett, Melissa Fidel, Emily, John-Paul and Todd Kostelac, and Jordan and Alanna Ramsier, eight great-grandchildren, Morgan and Damien Fidel, Dragen Kostelac, Tyler, Trent and Trisha Everett, and Gavin and Owen Seaton. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday, May 10, until 11 a.m., the hour of service in the funeral home with the Rev. George Grimes and Rev. Carl Hughes co-officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
