Obituary
Lawson (Sam) Lile, 68,of 86 Highland Terrace, Donora,died Sunday, Feb. 5,1967 at 3:10 a.m.,after a lingering illness. He was born in Trinity, Ala.,March 15,1897,and had been a resident of Donora 45 years. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church,American Legion Post 695,Donora,and was a veteran of World War I. Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Daisy Thomas of Trenton,N.J.,one niece,Mrs. Alda Key of Donora,and a nephew,Bland Whitman of Trenton. Friends are being received at the Percy Law Jr. Funeral Home,Donora. Service there Wednesday,Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. W.E. McBrayer,pastor of Donora's First Baptist Church,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Percy Law Jr.,funeral director.
