Obituary

Lawrence L. (Tiny) Simpson,51,of 934 Henry St.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,April 17,1962,at 4:30 a.m.in Veterans Administration Hospital,Pittsburgh,after a short illness. He was born October 31,1910,in Belle Vernon and was employed in the blast furnace department of the Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. Mr.Simpson was a World War II Army veteran and served with the Quartermaster Service Co. Surviving are five brothers,Robert of Belle Vernon,Nelson of Seattle,Wash.,Henry of Mt.Pleasant and Louis and Dale,both of Monessen,three sisters,Mrs.Raymond (Hazel) Chilton and Mrs.John (Betty) Dillard,both of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Vincent (Velma) Frazier of Donora. Friends are being received at the Beverly C.Draper Funeral home,Monessen,between the hours of 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.where funeral services will be held Friday,April 20,at 11 a.m.with the Rev.H.Coffey in charge,assisted by the Rev.C.Giles. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C.Draper,funeral director.
