Lawrence (Chub) Nalepa;135 Fayette Ave.;Belle Vernon (Fairhope);died Monday;March 27;1978;at 2:15 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was 49. Born in Washington Twp.;he was the son of Charles Nalepa of Fairhope;and the late Laura Stanish Nalepa. He was a veteran of the Korean War;having served with the U.S.Army. Mr.Nalepa was an employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel;Allenport Plant. He was a member of the V.F.W.Post 3557 Fairhope;the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club;Belle Vernon;American Legion Post No.359;and the Holy Spirit R.C.Church;Fayette City. In addition to his father;Mr.Nalepa is survived by one brother;Charles Nalepa Jr.of Lynnwood. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;after 7 p.m.Tuesday. A Blessing service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 10 a.m.with the Rev.Thomas G.Rinn;pastor of the Holy Spirit R.C.Church;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
