Born on Feb. 19; 1928; she was the daughter of the late Jacob Halliday and Victoria Bednarsky Markovitch Halliday. She was a member of Mary; Mother of the Church; Charleroi. Laura is survived by her daughters; Rose Marie Slavik and husband; George; of Monongahela and Katherine Reho and husband; David; of Charleroi; grandchildren; Melissa Modar and husband; Kris; of Belle Vernon and Brian Slavik and wife; Stephanie; of Belle Vernon; grandchildren; Lyric Modar and Tristan and Trentan Slavik; and brother-in-law; Walter Ornot of Library. In addition to her parents; she was predeceased by her husband; Albert Ornot; brothers; Martin; Joseph; John; and Stanley Markovitch; and Walter Halliday; and sisters; Helen Gidick; Sophie Raymond; and Mary Bolchak. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday; April 15; in the CARL J. SAPLLINO FUNERAL HOME; 819 Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi; Joseph A. Lopez; funeral director.
