Laura Graham Nahar;94;of Country Care Manor;Washington Township;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Sunday;Aug.1;1999;at 3 a.m. in Country Care Manor. Born Aug.21;1904;she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lillie Gibson Graham. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;Mrs.Nahar had resided at Country Care Manor the past 4 1/2 years. A homemaker;she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon. She was the last surviving member of her inmmediate family. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Leonard Nahar;in 1970;four sisters;Nora Graham;Ann Fee;Effie Pugh and Eleanor Toots Barrass;and one brother;Fred Graham. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev James C.Ramsey;pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment wil follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
