Larry R. Hixson; 60; of Pricedale; passed away on Monday; January 7; 2013; in UPMC Mercy. A son of the late Roy and Elizabeth Trembach Hixson; he was born in N. Charleroi on July 20; 1952. Larry was a lifelong resident of Pricedale. He worked on the road crew for Rostraver Twp. in the 1970’s and was employed at the former Volkswagen plant. Survivors include his wife; Pam Moffit Hixson; of Confluence; one son and daughter-in-law; Larry E. and Christy Hixson; of West Newton; one daughter and son-in-law; Karen A. Hixson and Allan Dubinsky; of Portland; Oregon; and three grandchildren; Larry D.; Hannah R. and Ella J. Hixson; all of West Newton Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
