Obituary

Larry Greenwood,24,of Belle Vernon R.D.2,Rostraver Township,died suddenly in Mon Valley Hospital,Wednesday,Dec. 3,1986 at 1:40 a.m. He was born in Carroll Township,Feb. 5,1962.  He was a member of the Covenant Christian Church,Belle Vernon.  He was a life-long resident of Rostraver Township and was a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School.  He was a coal sampler for the Commercial Testing and Engineering Company of Speers. He is survived by his parents,Benjamin and Karen Greenwood of Belle Vernon R.D.4;his wife,Theresa Pasternak Greenwood,whom he married Aug. 3,1985;one brother,Scott of Belle Vernon R.D. 4;and his paternal grandmother,Emma Greenwood of Monongahela. He was preceded in death by one brother, Lonnie,April 9,1979;his maternal grandparents,Steve and Yvonne Hoffman and his paternal grandfather, Clarence Earl Greenwood. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Frank DePolo of the Covenant Christian Church,Belle Vernon,officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
