Mr.Davis was born March 28;1946;in Monessen;a son of Clyde and Corrine Davis;who survive and reside in Monessen. At the time of his death;he was employed in the Coke Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation’s Monessen Works. Mr.Davis was a member of the MBA Fishermen’s Club of Monessen. Surviving;in addition to his parents;are his wife;Sandra Johnson Davis;at home;a daughter;Lar Rie;and a son;Larry ;Jr;both at home;six brothers;Marvin Davis;Eugene (Kotie) Davis and Kevin Davis;all of Monessen;Clyde Davis;Jr.of Charleroi;Leon Davis of the State of Delaware;and Ernie Davis of the State of Ohio;four sisters;Mrs.Shirley West;Mrs.Rosetta Oldrich and Anita Davis;all of Monessen;and Mrs.Marcella Bass of the State of Georgia;and a host of aunts;uncles;nieces;nephews and friends. Friends will be received at Draper Funeral Home;608 Sixth St.;Monessen;Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m.with Elder J.E.Bass of the Church of God in Christ;Monessen;officiating. The family requests donations in Mr.Davis’ memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Church of God in Christ;Monessen. Draper Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
