Larry A.Nichols;41;of Lakeland;Fla.;and formerly of Fayette City;died Tuesday;Dec.26;1995;at home after a short illness. He was born in North Charleroi Aug.22;1954;a son of the late Clarence Wendell Nichols;who died June 30;1989;and Laura English Nichols of Fayette City. Mr.Nichols was a member of the First Christian Church;Fayette City. He was a construction worker in Florida and a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict;having served in the U.S.Navy. Surviving;in addition to his morther;are his wife;Joan Nichols of Lakeland;Fla.;three brothers;Robert Wayne Nichols of Monongahela;James W.Nichols of Atlanta;Ga.;and John (Jack) Nichols of San Antonio;Texas;and two sisters;Phyllis Emerick of Dravosburg and Janet Nichols of Fayette City. Friends will be received Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 11 a.m. in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev.Wayne Boring of the First Christian Church;Fayette City;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon.
