A former Monessen barber,Lancelot D. Meigs,who had lived at 612 Sixth St.,Monessen died in the Westmoreland County Home Tuesday, May 13,1965,at 5:15 a.m. after a short illness. Mr. Meigs had been living at the home about three years. Mr. Meigs was a member of the Elks of the World Lodge,Monessen,and the Okay Lodge No.697,Monessen. He was born in Mt. Pleasant on July 26,1890. Surviving is a brother,Charles of Mt. Pleasant. Friends are being received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home in Monessen where a service will take place Friday,May 14,at 11 a.m. in charge of the Rev. Philip L. Green. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
