Kenneth K.(Moonie) Willey,of Allenport died Tuesday,Nov. 1,1977 at 12:28 p.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. Mr. Willey was born July 16,1904 in Allenport,a son of the late John and Georgia Jones Willey. He was retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr. Willey was a life member of the Allenport Rod and Gun Club and a member of the Charleroi Boat Club. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Sonafelt Willey in 1941. Survivors include his widow, Virginia Dillon Willey,two sons, John Willey of West Newton and Keith Willey of Charleroi;four daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Judith) Cap of Fallowfield Twp.,Mrs. Robert (Jane) Benedetti of Carroll Twp.,Mrs. Charles (Carol) Merritt of Monessen and Mrs. Joseph (Janet) Miller of Belle Vernon; three brothers, Louis J. Willey of Martins Ferry,Ohio,David Willey and Robert J. Willey,both of Allenport;two sisters, Mrs. James (Thelma) Gold of St. Petersburg,Fla.and Mabel Willey of Allenport and six grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home,Inc.,226 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Services wll be held in the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles H.A.Woods of the United Methodist Church,Allenport,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
