Rostraver Township; died Wednesday; Jan. 14; 1998; at 11:50
p.m. in Avante Nursing and Rehab Center; Jacksonville
Beach; Fla.
He was born July 3; 1915; in
Yukon; a son of the late John H.
and Edith Brenning Clifford.
A member of the Pricedale
Union Church; he resided in
Florida since 1992. He retired in
1980 as a body and fender man
in the auto industry.
Survivors include one son
and daughter-in-law; Kent T.
and Kathleen Clifford of Jacksonville; Fla.; two sisters; Marion Powell of Forest Hills and
Betty Sullivan of Turtle Creek;
five grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by his
wife; Alice Steinmiller Clifford;
who died May 7; 1991; and one
son; Kenneth R. Clifford. Friends will be received in the Ferguson Funeral home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Saturday from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m.;when funeral services will be held with the Rev.James J.Mimidis;pastor of the Pricedale Union Church;officiating. Burial will be Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
