Obituary

Kenneth E.Brewer,age 85,of Hopwood,Pa.,passed away peacefully on Monday morning,January 6,2014 in his home.  He was born May 5,1928 in Lowber,Pa.,the son of the late Fred Brewer and Kathryn Heywood Brewer.  In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his brothers Emery Brewer and William Brewer,sister,Linda Zelesnick and a son-in-law,Robert Pete Jackson.  He was a member of the Abundant Life Church.  He was a United States Veteran serving in the Navy.  He was an avid golfer.  He enjoyed yard work and coaching in the Hutchinson Baseball League for many years.  He retired after 40 plus years as a PBX installation man for Belle Telephone.  He was a 1946 graduate of Brownsville Area High School.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years,Geraldine Ann Russell Brewer,loving children,Peggy S.Jackson of Harrison City,Timothy Brewer and wife Paula M.of Uniontown,Daniel S.Brewer and wife Ann of Statesville,N.C.,and Laurie B.Facemire and husband David of Titusville,Florida,loving grandchildren,Russell R.J. Jackson and wife Matti,Maggie Werner and husband Chris,Megan M.Brewer,Kady Beth Brewer,Jordan Ann Brewer,Rebekah A.Brewer,Sarah Facemire and Josh Facemire,two great-grandchildren,Whitney J.Jackson and Theron Brewer Jackson,sisters,Donna Moats of Belle Vernon,Pa.,and Beverly Heffren of Monessen,Pa.,several loving nieces and nephews,other relatives and many friends. Friends will be received in the Abundant Life Church,1239 Brownfield Road,Uniontown,on Thursday,January 9,2014 from 4 to 8 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held on Friday morning at 11 a.m.with Rev.Nicholas Cook officiating.  Interment follows in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME,70 Pennsylvania Avenue,Uniontown,Pa.  Donations may be made in Kenneth's memory to the Abundant Life Church.
