Kenneth Carl (Rocky) Swan of North Charleroi died Wednesday;May 9;1984;in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 66. Mr.Swan was born May 11;1917;in Bunola;a son of the late Thomas and Clementine Bianchi Swan. A boilermaker by trade;he was a member of Local Union 154. Mr.Swan was a member of the Broad Street Christian Church of Newbern;N.C. Survivors include his wife;Dorothy Webb Swan;three sons;Richard Thomas Swan of North Charleroi;Staff Sgt.Carl Roger Swan serving with the U.S.Marines at Whidbey Island;Wash.;and Robert Lee Swan of Greensburg;11 grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ed Melenyzer Co.Funeral Home;300 Second St.;Monongahela. Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.John C.Brownlee;pastor of the First Christian Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ed Melenyzer Co.Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
