Mrs. Catherine Williams,widow of the late H.J. Williams,died Tuesday,January 8,1945,in a hospital in Chicago. The family resided in Monessen a number of years ago,Mr. Williams having been engaged as a janitor in the public schools for some time. Surviving are seven children:Mrs John Gillespie,Chicago,Miss Eleanor Williams,and Gordon Williams,Cleveland,Mrs. William Buckwotlz,Newark,N.J.,Mrs. William Reppel,Oscada,Mich.,Owen Williams,Gary,Indiana,and Mrs. Joseph Coher,Wilkinsburg. Ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Williams died in 1926. Mrs. Gertrude Searles of Monessen is a sister. The remains were brought to Monessen and taken to the Kelley Funeral home on McKee avenue,where friends will be received. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon January 13,at 2:30 o'clock. Dr. R.F. Steininger,of St. Paul's Lutheran Church,will officiate. R.S.Kelly,funeral director in charge.
