Mrs. Catherine Blasko Sveda, 82,of Fayette City R.D. 1 (Gillespie) ,died Friday, Dec. 23,1966 at 12:45 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a lenthy illness. She was a member of Holy Ghost Greek Catholic Church of Charleroi.Mrs. Sveda was born in Czechoslovakia on Dec. 16,1884. Surviving are two sons, Seve Sveda and Mike Sveda of Fayette City R.D.;three daughters, Mrs. Mary Voytek,Mrs. Edward (Anna) Arth and Catherine Svea,all of Cleveland,Ohio;five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. Prayer service there Monday, Dec. 26 at 9:45 a.m. followed by Requiem Divine Liturgy in Holy Ghost Greek Catholic Church,Charleroi at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Andrew Chara,pastor,will officiate. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas service at the funeral home Dec. 25 at 4 p.m. Howard W McCrory,funeral director.
