Kathryn McCovish Moluski; 100; of Belle Vernon (Washington Township); died Saturday; May 23; 2009; in Monongahela Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born Jan. 19; 1909; in Long Branch; she was a daughter of the late Dmitri and Mary Chudoba McCovish. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 42 years; Mrs. Moluski was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; and was a retired meter reader from Bell Telephone. She was a member of The Center on the Hill; the Homemakers Club; Women’s Altar Society of St. Joseph’s Church; Roscoe; and the St. Sebastian Legion of Mary. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law; Raymond G. and Georgia Moluski; of Belle Vernon; two daughters and sons-in-law; Barbara and Richard Webb; of Roscoe; and Dona Jean and Jack McMahon; of Peters Township; a sister; Jennie McCovish; of Elco; seven grandchildren; Sherie Lammers and husband Scott; James Horan and wife Kathi; Kerie Noll and husband Tom; Raymond E. Moluski; Shelley Kostelac and husband Todd; Kristan McMahon and David McMahon; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years; Clifford T. Moluski; on Nov. 21; 1995; a son; Clifford E. Moluski; three brothers; Andy; John and George McCovish; and a sister; Ann McCovish. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; 724-929-6183. Prayer service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home; followed by funeral Mass at noon in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Kathryn Moluski at 3 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
