Kathryn Marraccini;86;formerly of Allenport;died Monday;June 26;1989;at 1:20 p.m. in Haven Crest Nursing Home Inc.;Carroll Twp.;where she has resided since 1985. Born July 14;1902;in Rush;she was the daughter of the late Dr.Harvey and Blanche Rosenkrans Fry. Mrs.Marraccini lived in Allenport for approximately 35 years;and was a member of the Allenport United Methodist Church. She graduated as a nurse from Robert Packer Hospital and then as an anesthesiologist from the University of Pennsylvania. She was employed for many years at the former Monongahela Hospital. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;James Marraccini;on May 30;1985. Surviving are two sisters;Jean Brink of Binghamton;N.Y.;and Louise Ingham of Camptown;and one sister-in-law;Rose Franks of Charleroi. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.;with the Rev.Charles K.Sowden of the South Brownsville United Methodist Church offficiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
