Born in Fayette City;she was a daughter of the late John Nesley Furlong and Mary Elizabeth Craig Furlong. Surviving are her husband;James;two sons;William and James B.of Belle Vernon;three daughters;Mrs.Howard (Garnet) Layton and Mrs.Sam (Virginia) Miller of Fayette City;Mrs.Herbert (Eleanor) Owens of Belle Vernon;a sister;Mrs.Lulu McLivired of Fayette City;11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchilren.
