Katherine Lautsch, formerly in Marguerite S., Monessen, died Sunday,March 1,1981 at 2:45 a. m. in the Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Twp. following a lingering illness. She was 86. Born June 15,1894 in Europe, Mrs. Lautsch was a former Belle Vernon resident , having moved to Monessen in 1941. Mrs Lautsch was a member of St. Hyacinth's Church, Monessen, and its Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Polish National Alliance Group 1146,Monessen. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Lautsch, in Feb. 1972, and a son, John C. Lautsch, in Nov. 1976. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Anna Domjancie of Monessen, Mrs. Bert (Jo Ann) Cumberledge of Hemet, Calif., Mrs. Anthony (Louise) Loschiavo of Lindenhurst , N Y., Mrs Joseph (Mary) Lazar of Jim Thorpe, Pa. , and Mrs. Michael (Stella ) Fiorill of Lancaster; tvvo sons, Walter Lautsch of Belle Vernon and Joseph Lautsch of Lancaster, 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home, Inc., Grand Blvd and Marion Ave., Monessen, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Blessing service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.at the funeral home,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.at St.Hyacinth's Church,Monessen,with the Rev.Joseph Tamilowski,pastor,as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Robert A.Billick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangemtns.
