Katherine Joan Gasher;63;of Monessen;died Wednesday;Aug.5;1998;in Magee-Womens Hospital;Pittsburgh. She was born in California;Pa.;on June 28;1935;a daughter of the late Frank J.and Helen Baceski Bruni. Mrs.Gasher and her husband made their home in the state of California for the past 44 years;returning to Monessen one year ago. She was employed in retail sales and;at the time of her death;was employed by Wal-Mart Supercenter in Rostraver Square. Mrs.Gasher was Catholic by faith. Survivors include her husband;Joseph Dwaine Gasher;three daughters;Brenda Marie Fields of Texas;Bonnie Lynn Holsinger of Colorado Springs;Colo.;and Darlene Jo Gasher of Long Beach;Calif.;four grandchildren;one great-grandchild;one great-great-grandchild;a sister and brother-in-law;Alice and John Kotch of Monessen;and a brother and sister-in-law;Frank and Josephine Bruni of Monessen. Friends will be received in the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home;Inc.;Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue;Monessen;on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Blessing service will be held Monday at 10 a.m.in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Robert A.Billick Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
