Katherine Burkett;75;of 128 Dinsmore St.;Fairhope;formerly of Pricedale and Belle Vernon;died Sunday;Oct.19;1975;at 7:20 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. Mrs.Burkett was born in England on Dec.29;1899;daughter of the late Henry and Emma Round Treaswell. She was a member of the Pricedale Union Church and the Belle Vernon and Charleroi Golden Age Clubs. Her husband;Willard T.Burkett;died in 1949. Surviving are three sons;George Burkett of Belle Vernon;Daniel Burkettt of Elizabeth and Charles R.Burkett of Uniontown;one daughter;Mrs.Arlene Gaul of Monessen;two brothers;Edward Treadwell of Jacksonville;Fla.and George Treadwell of Belle Vernon;one sister;Mrs.Hanna Stanley of Canonsburg;nine grandchildren;and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2 p.m.with the Rev.Howard S.Rodebaugh of Pricedale Union Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
