Born Oct. 13; 1905; in Germany;
she was the daughter of
the late Phillip and Bertha
Langer Bonsch.
Mrs. Speers spent most of her
adult life in Speers and was a
member of Speers United
Methodist Church.
She was an employee of the
former Kirk and Clark Company
in Charleroi.
Surviving are two sons; Van
Alden Speers of Daisytown and
James Phillip Speers of
S t r e e t s b o r o ; Ohio; two
daughters; Mrs. John (Rebecca)
Robbins of Speers Hill and Mrs.
Thomas (Elaine) Baldwin of
Akron; Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Alden Speers;on Oct.7;1941;three brothers;Phillip and John Bonsch;and August Langer;and a granddaughter;Cheryl Speers. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.;;with the Rev.John Flower;pastor of Speers United Methodist Church;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
