Kate Sutton of Main St.;Pricedale;died Friday;Aug.26;1977;at 4:55 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital following a lingering illness. She was born April 9;1902 in Connellsville;and had been a resident of the Belle Vernon area for the past 30 years. She was a member of the Pleasant Green A.M.E.Church;Pricedale. Survivors include a son;John Walter Sutton of Baltimore;Md.;one sister;Millie Robinson of Baltimore;Md. and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen;from 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and 2 to 4 p.m.Sunday. Additional viewing will take place after 6 p.m.at the Pleasant Green A.M.E.Church;Pricedale;where the body will lie in state until 1 p.m.Monday;the time of service. Rev.Bertha Snyder;pastor;will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R.Taylor is funeral director in charge.
