June Kefover, 93, of Perryopolis, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Round) Devesse and her stepfather George Kefover, she was born in Lynnwood on February 3, 1931. Formerly of North Belle Vernon, June has been a resident of Perryopolis since 1959. She was employed at Mellon Bank of Monessen for 17 ½ years and an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Belle Vernon. June is survived by her daughter, Vicki L. Gardner of McDonough, GA, a son and daughter in-law, Dana (Edie) Kefover of Jefferson Township, a sister, Diane Marraccini of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, Jason (Andrea) Gardner, Nicole (Robert) Watford, Dylan Kefover, and Maverick Kefover; and four great grandchildren, Jason Gardner, Jr., Chloe Watford, Montgomery Gardner, and River June Gardner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” W. Kefover on December 24, 2018; a daughter, Tracy Lee Kefover; and a sister, Linda Devesse.
