Mrs. Julie Porignaux Biernaux,83,of Fourth St. Ext.,North Charleroi,died Friday,June 24,1960 at 4:48 p.m. at her home. Born in Belgium,Nov. 13,1876,she came to Charleroi in 1888. She was a member of St. Jerome R.C.Church,Charleroi. She was preceded indeath by her husband,Dieudone Biernaux,Jan.26,1955. They had owned and operated Biernaux Greenhouse in North Charleroi. Surviving are three daughters, Erma Biernaux and Alice Biernaux,both at home and Mrs. Mary Sedlar, Monessen; a granddaughter, Mrs. George Rose on North Charleroi and a great-grandchild. Friends are being received at the late home. Funeral services will be held Monday,June 27,at 9 a.m.from St. Jerome R.C.Church,Charleroi,with the Rev. James McKeever,pastor,officiating at Requiem Mass. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer,Monessen,funeral director.
