Julia “Judy” Faye Geller, 86, of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully at her home on April 6, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 8, 1932 in Hopwood, PA to the late James R. Russell, Sr. and Blanche (Robinson) Russell. Judy, as she was affectionately known, was a longtime member of the Cherry Tree Alliance Church in Uniontown, PA. She had seven children, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family which included ten brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Roger Russell, John D. Russell, James R. Russel Jr., Maurice Russell, Harry Russell Sr., Samuel Russell and her sisters Bertha Kunkle, Margaret DeCarlo, Sue Flenniken and Geraldine Brewer. She was also precede in death by her daughter-in -law, Joletta Marie (Vall) Geller. Julia is survived by her seven loving children, Donald Geller Jr. and his wife Cindy of Lexington Park, MD, Ricky Geller of Lafayette, IN, Debra Geller of Leesburg, VA, Patricia Durany and her husband Stanley of Lemont Furnace, PA, Randy Geller and his wife Betty of Hopwood, PA, Brian Geller and his wife Beryl of Uniontown, PA and Sally O’Brien and her husband Shane of Uniontown, PA. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Donald Geller III and his wife Michelle of Lexington Park, MD, Christopher Geller and his wife Kelley of Virginia Beach, VA, Gregory Geller of Lexington Park, MD, Kristin Strasser and her husband Rick of Nashville, TN, Ricki McKee and her husband Joe of Lafayette, IN, Erik Sassak and his wife Sarah of Round Hill, VA, Rachael Kravec and her husband Matt of Pittsburgh, PA, and Breanne Shrum and her husband Connor of Uniontown, PA. In addition, she is survived by her eight great grandchildren; Nicolas Geller, Abigail Geller, Andrew Sassak, John Sassak, Olivia Geller, Caroline Geller, Jody McKee and Carys Stasser as well as her sister-in law’s, Alice Russell of Perryopolis, PA and Mary Ellen Russell of Belle Vernon, PA, and her brother-in-law William Flenniken of Titusvile, FL Her children will receive family and friends at the Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home in Hopwood, PA on Wednesday, April 10th, 2019 from 4:00-7:00pm and Thursday from 10:00-11:00am the hour of the service with her oldest son, Reverend Donald G. Geller Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Belle Vernon Cemetery in Belle Vernon, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cherry Tree Alliance Church, 640 Cherry Tree Ln.
