Julia Rusyniak Yuschak; 97; of North Belle Vernon; died Thursday; May 31; 2012; at 6:30 a.m. at her home. Born Aug. 28; 1914; in Ginger Hill; she was the daughter of the late Peter and Eva Furtak Rusyniak. Mrs. Yuschak was a lifelong resident of the Mon Valley. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church; where she and her husband cleaned for 20 years; and was a life member of the St. Barbara Altar Guild. She and her husband owned and operated a small confectionary; Yuschak’s Grocery; in North Belle Vernon for 35 years. Julia was a very loving and caring mother. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; John and Donna Yuschak; of Newburg; Ind.; and David and Ann Yuschak; of Plano; Texas; two daughters; Claudette Yuschak; of North Belle Vernon; and Gloria Yuschak; of Fayette City; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; John Yuschak; on Nov. 1; 1991; a daughter; Carol Boris; three brothers; William; Walter and John Rusyniak; and two sisters; Helen Meluch and Dorothy Ferencz. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; (724) 929-6183. Relatives and friends will gather at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church Monday at 9 a.m. for Funeral services with the Very Rev. Father Samuel Smolcic of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas will be held Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Julia Yuschak to the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church Memorial Fund.
