Obituary
Mrs. Julia Simko,nee Sivak, age 59 years, of Fayette City,R.D.1,died Sunday, June 27,1948,at 10:15 a.m. She was born in Arustia-Hungary,June 15,1889. She was a member of St. Edward's Church, Fayette City. She is survived by two sons, George of Detroit,Michigan and Edward of Fayette City,R.D.,three daughters, Mrs. Stephen Birzsak of Newark,New Jersey,Mrs. Paul Lape and Margaret Simko of Charleroi and five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held there Wednesday,June 30,1948, at 8:30 a.m.,followed by additional services in St. Edward's Church, Fayette City,at 9 a.m. Rev. John Sabol will have charge of services and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.
