Julia S.Pabis;78;of Arnold City;died Tuesday;Nov.23;1993;at her home. She was born Dec.9;1914;in Washington Township;a daughter of the late Mike and Julia Osikowicz Pabis. She was a retired employee of the Corning Glass plant in Charleroi. Miss Pabis was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by two brothers;John Pabis in 1986 and Michael Pabis in 1971. Survivors include one sister;Mrs.Steve (Genevieve Jean) Samek of Arnold City and one brother;Charles (Chuck) Pabis of Fayette City. Friends will be received Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where a Prayer service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in Holy Spirit Catholic Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Richard E.Mackiewicz as celebrant. A parish wake service will be held Friday at 3 p.m.in the funeral home. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
