Julia Tordy Lunt of 319 Spiker Ave., Belle Vernon,died Saturday,December 12,1981 at 5:58 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 81. She was born May 9,1900,in Roscoe (Lucyville),a daughter of the late John and Julia Salmari Puskas. Mrs. Lunt had been a lifelong resident of Pricedale where she had operated a grocery store with her late first husband,Joseph Tordy Sr.,from 1917 to 1943. In addition to Mr. Tordy,she also was preceded in death by her second husband, Earl D. Lunt. Mrs. Lunt was a member of St. Sebastain R.C.Church,Belle Vernon.Survivors include two sons,Joseph E. Tordy of Belle Vernon and Leslie E. Lunt of West Newton,five daughters,Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Lynn of Tarentum,Mrs. Andrew (Johanna) Semancik of Belle Vernon,Mrs. Eleanor Tabela of the state of California,Mrs. Joseph (Shirey) Petix of Charleroi,and Mrs. Donald (Loretta) Michener,with whom she made her home. Also surviving are two sisters,Mrs. Mary Pollack in Hungary and Mrs. Anna Mae Pazorski of Tarentum;one nephew,Frank Pazorski, 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Friends will be recived in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. A Prayer service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rosary services for family and friends will be conducted by the C.D. of A. in the funeral home Tuesday at 3 p.m. A wake service will be conducted by St. Sebastian R.C.Church in the funeral home Tuesday at 8 p.m. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director in charge of arrangements.
