Mrs.Julia Baker;938 Knox avenue;died Friday;May 6;1949;at 11:27 p.m.  She was born in Holidaysburg and lived in Monessen since 1920.  She is survived by one son;Francis and one daughter;Mrs.Edna Baker of Monessen;four grandchildren;three sisters;Mrs.Bracken;of Easton;Wash.;Mrs.Aaron Crane;of Altoona;Mrs.George Deems;of Girard;Ohio;and two brothers;James and William;of Altoona.  Friends are being received at the Check Home for Funerals until Tuesday;May 10;1949;when brief services will be held at 8:30 a.m.followed by additional rites at 9 a.m. at St.Leonard’s Roman Catholic Church with the Rev.Fr.Owen J.Kirby officiating.  Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Joseph R.Check;funeral director.
