Julia Godzak of 18 Elm St.;Monessen;died Wednesday;Aug.21;1985;at 8:18 a.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital. She was 67. Mrs.Godzak was born June 3;1918;in Washington Township;a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Vitoich Choka. She was a member of St.Mary’s Church of Monessen. A resident of Monessen since 1946;she had previously lived in Washington Township. Survivors include her husband;Steve Godzak;one son;Thomas L.Jones of Speers Hill;one brother;Walter Choka of Monessen;four sisters;Mary Davis;Helen Gelotti and Eva Wall;all of Belle Vernon;and Mildred Chisholm of Fairless Hills;and three grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Saturday;Aug.24;at 10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Andrew D.Parvensky officiating.
